CBP originally designed these systems for use in pharmacies for U.S. Dept of Veterans Affairs Hospitals. Additional applications include but are not limited to  collections boxes for local utility payments or donations, convenience stores, bank deposits, detention facilities, parcel pickup boxes, after hours parcel receiving, car/key drop off, drive thru or curbside pickup, etc..
